Christening of new Research Vessel Wim Wolff

Today at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) the new research vessel for the Wadden Sea and the Zeeland delta RV Wim Wolff has been christened in a festive ceremony by NWO executive board member Caroline Visser and Charly Wolff, granddaughter of Wim Wollf. The new vessel will replace the RV Navicula. RV Wim Wolff has a limited draught, possibility to beach, a larger capacity, is as efficient and green as possible and is equipped with a state-of-the-art science package.
